Websites that use Drupal

There are quite a few big web companies using Drupal to power their websites.

I am a big fan of Drupal, and use it for many of my websites. It is a very powerful and flexible CMS portal system. I know it is capable of powering big websites. I always like hearing of big web companies using Drupal, and below I have listed any I have found. I have also listed other Drupal powered websites that I like.

Drupal 5 for my new directory

I have just installed and tried Drupal version 5, and it looks fantastic. I am particularly impressed with the new admin layouts, and power of the default theme, which I am happy to use.

I have been a fan of the Drupal CMS/Portal system for a few years now. I have created a number of websites, and have enjoyed the great choice of modules, which can help to build a website quickly.

I have been using version 4.7, for about 6 months. Version 5 is out, and used by many. Version 6 is also in development! I resisted the upgrade to v5 as not all of the modules I have been using are available yet.

Today I decided to start a new type of webmaster directory.

YouMovieReviews.com, a new website

I have created a new movie review website. It's a simple website where anyone can write their review of any movie.

Drupal performance, a good story

Tagged:

I regularly read stories of CMS websites suffering performance issues. I created several Drupal driven websites recently and have left off many features, such as nice looking URLs, because of performance fears.

Review of Windows desktop blog applications for Drupal and Wordpress

Tagged:

I will be spending quite a lot of time travelling over the next few years. I need a Windows desktop application that allows me to write content offline on my laptop, and then easily publish the content to my Drupal installations. I have taken a good look around the options and presented my findings. My findings concentrate on general purposed blog applications, and so are likely to be just as relevant to users of WordPress, and other blog or CMS systems.
