A new website for ChainsawBars, the UK’s leading supplier of chainsaw parts.
Designed and managed by Very Creative People. I did all of the technical work on this WordPress and WooCommerce website.
I created custom selector tools that show all of the products available for a given chainsaw model, which is typically very complicated. This included the necessary admin tools to manage this enormous dataset.
The site constantly encourages up-selling and cross selling of products, but in a way the helps the customer, as parts compatibility in this sector is very complicated.
Items of note include several product selectors, which are powered by custom database tables, which the team administer through a spreadsheet import and export, as this is their preferred method. I automated the import of 3000+ products from the existing website, including all images, prices, and taxonomy.
